Open Call to Participate in the
Volunteers’ Program “The Athens Greeters”
This is Athens, the official City of Athens guide, announces the launch of the Volunteers’ program «The Athens Greeters» and invites all those who are interested to register.
The purpose of this new program is to give the opportunity to those who wish so, to contribute voluntarily in greeting Athens’ visitors, based on their characteristics, availability and skills at key info points located in the city of Athens throughout the tourist season (May 2017 – October 2017). Our volunteers will have the opportunity to get more of a professional perspective on the tourism industry that then can use later in life, get familiar with cultures from all over the world, interact with the visitors and be able to live a unique experience.
